Dinner Delights at xbajee – Complete Guide to the Kitchen-Themed Slot
Dinner Delights is a video slot by PG Soft built around the theme of a lively kitchen. This page covers the reel layout, bonus rounds, budget tips, and common misconceptions about the game.
Dinner Delights – Theme and Style
Dinner Delights is a 5-reel video slot by PG Soft set against the backdrop of a busy restaurant kitchen. The theme is light, colourful, and visually enjoyable — the reels are filled with cooking utensils, food dishes, and chef characters. PG Soft is known for smooth animations and sound design in its slots, and Dinner Delights is no different.
The game runs on a classic 5-reel, 3-row grid with 20 fixed paylines. Wins are formed when identical symbols land consecutively from left to right on a payline. The game sits between low and mid volatility, so small to medium wins come in regularly.
xbajee's slots section offers games from PG Soft and many other developers, but Dinner Delights is particularly popular with new players for its familiar theme and straightforward mechanics.
How a spin works
Setting your bet
Before each spin you set the bet amount. The game typically lets you increase your bet in steps starting from the minimum.
How wins are formed
When the reels spin, landing the same symbol from left to right on a payline results in a win. In Dinner Delights, the wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to increase win chances.
Scatter and free spins
Landing 3 or more scatter symbols together triggers the free spin bonus round. This round offers the chance of bigger wins without placing additional bets.
Multipliers and special features
Multiplier symbols in the bonus round can multiply your win. The maximum win in the game can reach up to 2,500 times your bet.
In the base game of Dinner Delights, chef symbols act as high-paying symbols while cooking utensils are the low-paying ones. During the free spin round, special wild symbols can spread across entire reels, paying across multiple paylines at once. The mechanics are straightforward overall, but the real excitement begins once you enter the bonus round.
Understanding budget, session and volatility
Dinner Delights is a mid-volatility game — it neither pays out big wins after very long dry spells nor delivers small wins very frequently. In plain terms: the chance of getting something on each spin is moderate, and you usually have to wait for the bonus round for a bigger win.
This game works well for players who want to play for a longer time without their balance dropping too quickly. You can enjoy all the game's features with small bets and don't need a large budget.
Long losing streaks like those in high-volatility games are less common here, making Dinner Delights a good choice for players starting out with slots.
Practical tips before you play
- 01 Start in demo mode. xbajee offers many PG Soft slots in demo mode. Get familiar with Dinner Delights' features first, then spin with real money.
- 02 Set a session budget. Before each session, decide the maximum amount you are willing to spend. When your balance reaches that limit, end the session — and stick to it.
- 03 Set a stop-limit. Even when winning, set a stop-limit — for example, stop when your total balance doubles. Keeping your winnings is the sensible move.
- 04 More spins at smaller bets. In a mid-volatility game, more spins at a smaller bet gives you more chances to reach the bonus round than fewer spins at a larger bet.
- 05 Track your time. It is easy to lose track of time when playing slots. Set a time limit for each session as well.
Things about slots that are not true
"The slot machine is due to pay out now"
Every spin is completely independent. The result of a previous spin has no effect on the next one. No machine is ever "due to pay" — this idea is wrong, and raising your bet based on it is harmful.
"If you keep losing, raising your bet will recover the losses"
Chasing losses is the most dangerous habit in slots. Raising your bet does not increase your chances of winning — it only increases the risk of losing more, faster. End the session instead of chasing losses.
"If you win in demo mode, the same will happen with real money"
Demo mode is only for learning the game — it does not predict wins in real-money play. The outcomes of the two are completely separate and you cannot use one to forecast the other.

xbajee – How Dinner Delights differs from other slot styles
Dinner Delights vs Megaways slots
In Megaways slots (such as Bonanza Megaways), thousands of paylines change on every spin. Dinner Delights' 20 fixed paylines are far more predictable, making the mechanics easier to follow.
Fixed PaylinesDinner Delights vs high-volatility slots
High-volatility slots like Fire in the Hole xBomb or San Quentin xWays commonly have long losing streaks. Dinner Delights pays out smaller wins more steadily, so your balance does not drop sharply all at once.
Lower RiskDinner Delights vs classic 3-reel slots
3-reel slots have far fewer symbols and features. Dinner Delights' 5-reel grid and free spin bonus make each session considerably more varied.
Bonus Featuresxbajee's full slots section includes slots from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, and many other developers. Each slot has different mechanics and volatility, so choose based on your preference and budget.

Reels, paylines and bonus round details
Dinner Delights runs on a 5-reel, 3-row grid. All 20 paylines are always active — players cannot turn paylines off, so the only strategic choice is setting the bet amount.
The high-paying symbols are the chef characters and special dishes — landing 5 in a row gives the highest payout. The wild symbol can appear anywhere on the reels and substitutes for any symbol except the scatter.
Landing 3 or more scatter symbols triggers the free spin round. During this round, special sticky wild or expanding wild features may activate — spreading across multiple rows to open the way for bigger wins. The maximum possible win in the game is up to 2,500 times your bet, and this most often happens in the free spin round.
